Community Initiatives

Community is important. Here at Quill we are not only passionate about making a great change in the lives of our clients and team, we are passionate advocates for our community and love to make a difference in any way we can.

Every year we participate in Jeans for Genes day to raise funds and awareness for Children’s genetic diseases.

A big congratulations goes out to our team this year for placing 6th in fundraising out of all Queensland organisations for Jeans for Genes day.

This year we participated in the Cancer Council’s ‘Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea’ by selling baked goods to our team.

As a team, we are passionate about taking steps to make a difference in the fight against cancer. Learn more about what the Cancer Council does on their website.

We are passionate about road safety and are advocates for the not for profit organisation, the Australian Road Safety Foundation (ARSF).

Through innovative road safety awareness programs and driver education, it achieves significant reduction in road deaths and injuries nationally.

The phrase ‘Pro Bono’ derives from the Latin phrase ‘pro bono publico’ which translates to ‘for the public good’.

We recognise that not everyone can always afford the financial help they require, and our team help out in cases whenever they can.

We recognise that health is a major part of life and to encourage our team and community, every year we run our HealthQ 10 Week Challenge.

Often family members and and friends also benefit from the program, and it’s a great opportunity to support local small businesses that specialise in health, personal training, and nutrition.

Not only do we run events that gather people for education and business networking purposes, we also care about empowering individuals to be the best they can. Earlier this year, we celebrated International Women’s Day and heard from the amazing Dr Cris.

Our team also regularly share their expertise at industry events.

We have a very generous team and many volunteered this year at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

We’re proud of team members like Luis and Wendy who took time off work, and juggled working whilst also volunteering at the Games to make them a success. Learn about Luis’ volunteer experience.
